When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He worked as a nervous Cook and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

History: Born to a Barrister, his father struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His golden hair is cut short. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the south to a Adventurer, Ernest learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Adventurer for the past few years.

History: Born to a Bowyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
