Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a yellow vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his yellow boots flare out at the collars. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Theobald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Theobald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: He stands about 6'1" and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greataxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Henry grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and to share knowledge with the world
