History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Kody learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Kody liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his father before him.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: An older man who is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, brown shirt, and blue tie, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Alex hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. A true patriot, Alex would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He carries a battered scimitar and tarnished mace as well. He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and regain custody of his son
