History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Odo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a brown armored body suit, with a simple black line shooting up and back down. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alex was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
