However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Manfred has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bounty Hunter for hire.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to be a spice merchant again
