History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Reynard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born into a rich family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is greedy; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His brown hair is cut short. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born in the west to a Junk Dealer, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has worked as a Junk Dealer like his father before him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
