His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his father's many stories. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
