History: Kody lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and revenge
