History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Fisher father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Balimaar reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is unsatisfied with his job
