History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Guard.
