Shane Thackeray, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a greataxe on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was a Dyer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is greedy
Ideals: Fighting, Justice. Flaws: Mundane, PTSD. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Navigator

Manfred Hallewell, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a violet coat over a tan low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Born in the south to a Dilettante, Manfred learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a Dilettante soon after.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
Flaws: Insane, Sensitive, Shy. Bonds: Job, Family. Occupation: Dilettante
Voice: Australian accent

He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. Geoffrey Watson, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This tall, slender man wears an entirely red suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Geoffrey grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
