He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Reynard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Reynard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
