History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
