History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer mother left him crippled. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Cory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
