Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dean embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Farmer, but he got bored and became a Shoemaker. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Solomon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Ralf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and he loathes his own lifestyle
