The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Geoffrey never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the east. At a young age his mother died while driving off some goblins. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortspear use. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: Frederick wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Rogue, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Frederick enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Frederick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
