History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.

Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Dustin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He became a Shepherd soon after.
