He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Cory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has achieved small success as a Mason.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he would like to get married and retire

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister
