History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate.
