Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gilbert was born with his father's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Alex wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

History: Justin was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Justin and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the west to a Dyer, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Roland has worked very hard to control his curse. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
