History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything.
