History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he usually wears his grey robe and has his sai always slung over his shoulder. His black hair is singed and shortened. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Chad has worked very hard to control his curse. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
