Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Drogo was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He takes great joy in being the best Shepherd in town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a shepherd and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is unsatisfied with his job
