One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of a Bellfounder, who enjoyed hunting, Reynard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
