History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Manfred was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Manfred's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Conrad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
