History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Ruler. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and further expansion of business

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He is physically well-built. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
