History: Gerard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and regain custody of his daughter

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
