Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He struck the Architect job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His black hair is still thick. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and human compassion

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
