History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.
