Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, William embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, William is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: William was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants, marred by sweets. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses divination through singing.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Apothecary, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and wants to raise his children well

History: He comes from a rich western family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: This malnourished man wears a brown deerstalker hat and brown clothes. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He was born in a small island village. A gifted student he started as a Stylist, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He now mingles about in high society.
