History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This late middle aged man wears many layers of old clothing at all times and is in decent physical shape. He has silver hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He stands about 6'0" and wears a green vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his green boots flare out at the collars. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a Sellsword, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Sellsword again.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired him part-time. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is content.
