History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A freak accident while working with his Tailor mother left him crippled. During his travels, Dean and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Dean discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Dean fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He takes great joy in being the best Fortune-teller in town.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He has worked as a Fortune-teller like his mother before him.
