History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Balimaar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. Balimaar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Dilettante soon after.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Kody was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his old friends
