The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Miles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Miles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
