History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he would like to get married and retire

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
