Diggory Merton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His chestnut hair and beard is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to get a good night's sleep
Ideals: Entrepeneur. Flaws: Insomniac, Hedonist, Forgetful. Bonds: Immigrant. Occupation: Sculptor

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He carries with him a set of flails on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Shane Clayden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man wears a brown wide-brimmed hat and brown clothes. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He sports a flattop hair cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
