History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Hugh was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: This northern man wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. His clothes are grease stained in places. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.

Description: He wears bulky black painted plate armor. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep
