History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to open a new tavern
