Description: This man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his right hand. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Laborer and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his club, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his broad blue hat.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents enrolled him in a Aristocrat school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
