History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
