He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in a small island village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
