History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Rolf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Barber arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
