History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in mace use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
