He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Norman was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
