History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to end his boredom

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Simon will drive conversation. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Simon was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Frederick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Frederick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born into a rich family. Hunter abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor
