He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Adelard was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dilettante. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Kody's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Kody enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. His first spouse was a Banker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
