Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Manfred isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theodoric alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge
