He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
