History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fletcher for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Gerard took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
