History: Born in the south to a Merchant, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: To be a Barrister again; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
